General Purpose
To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
ogenerate and qualify leads
osource and develop client referrals
oprepare sales action plans and strategies
oschedule sales activity
odevelop and maintain a customer database
odevelop and maintain sales and promotional omaterials
oplan and conduct direct marketing activities
omake sales calls to new and existing clients
odevelop and make presentations of company oproducts and services to current and opotential clients
onegotiate with clients
odevelop sales proposals
oprepare and present sales contracts
oconduct product training
omaintain sales activity records and prepare osales reports
orespond to sales inquiries and concerns by ophone, electronically or in person
oensure customer service satisfaction and ogood client relationships
ofollow up on sales activity
operform quality checks on product and oservice delivery
omonitor and report on sales activities and ofollow up for management
ocarry out market research and surveys
oparticipate in sales events
omonitor competitors, market conditions and oproduct development
Education and
Experience:
oknowledge of relevant computer applications
oknowledge of principles and practices of sales
oknowledge of customer service principles
oknowledge of basic business principles
oexperience in sales
