As we are expanding and gearing up for the summer season, we are looking for a part-time swim instructor with preferable experience teaching swimming to young children, but will also include on-the-job training.
Job can start as early as next week, but we are flexible.
Job will start at approximately 5 hours a week, with room for considerably more hours over the summer.
This could be a long-term job with growth potential, or the perfect opportunity for a student or someone seeking part-time work and a steady schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Teach young children swim basics using MarciSwim's method Keep kids engaged and learning using a loving but firm approach Track swimmers progress in mastering foundational skills Communicate with parents about concerns, swimming abilities, and things to work on at home Enforce swim facility's rules, policies, and regulations Preferred
Qualifications:
Great with kids of all ages Experiencing coaching private 1:
1 swim lessons Understanding of both foundational swimming skills and stroke development Lifeguard or CPR certification preferred Great communication skills and responsiveness via email or text No high school students Available Saturday mornings

Pay starting at $20/hour and up to $30/hour, commensurate with experience.
Flexible scheduling and hours.
We prefer you to be available at least one day a week for approximately 4 hours for lessons, but we are flexible and able to work with you for time off.
