1K - $33K a year Job Summary This position is responsible for providing customer service to park visitors and collecting and accounting for parking fees collected at city parks.
PLEASE NOTE HOURS:
Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays - any hours including early mornings, late evenings, as well as additional hours when needed.
Essential Job Duties Perform duties related to providing customer service to park visitors and collecting and accounting for parking fees collected at city parks.
Performs duties and makes decisions consistent with department mission, vision, and core values.
Collects gate fees, enters transactions into register, issues receipts, and accurately accounts for monies accepted through preparation and completion of daily deposits and reports.
Delivers accurate and timely reports of injuries, safety issues, damage to property, needed repairs, and low inventories of supplies to the attention of the Parks Operations Manager or Office Manager.
Follows, practices, and helps enforce all park and facility rules.
Follows verbal and written instructions from superiors and ensures the timely and quality completion of those assigned tasks.
Responsible for setting up tents, rolling gate houses into place, setting up temporary signage, and placement of barricades.
Provides quality customer service to park visitors and residents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements of Position Must be seventeen (17) years of age or older.
College students desirable.
Must successfully pass criminal background and credit check.
Must successfully pass post-offer drug screening.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
